July 22, 2011 – Assault – Bus Driver – Salisbury East

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery which happened yesterday afternoon at Salisbury East.

At about 4.15pm, two men threw a cake toward an open window of a public bus as it was travelling along Gloucester Avenue.

The driver stopped and confronted the men who assaulted him and knocked him to the ground before stealing his mobile phone.

The driver was not seriously injured.

The suspects are both described as Caucasian appearance, aged between 20-25 years with dark coloured hair.
