July 22, 2011 – Fraud – Local Resident – Gold Coast

Police have charged a man in his mid 50’s with several offences including two counts of fraud and one count each of attempted fraud, obtain with identification information, contravene a requirement and obstruct police.
The man has also been charged with a warrant which was issued for Commonwealth offences and Qld Weapons Act offences in 2002.
He is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Police are still seeking public assistance from anyone who may know this man. It is believed he resided on the Gold Coast or south of the Brisbane River.
