July 23, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Local Business – Beaudesert

Police are investigating an armed robbery of a store on Tina Street, Beaudesert which occurred this evening.
At 6.30pm, two men armed with knives entered the store and demanded money from a female staff member.
The staff member was unable to open the cash register draw, which prompted the men to take the cash register and flee on foot.
The men were dressed in dark coloured clothing, and had their faces covered. They were last seen running into the grounds of a nearby school.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
