Police have arrested three people after a Parabanks Salisbury supermarket was broken into last night.

It’s alleged that at about 10.55pm a group of people smashed a glass panel in a side door and entered the premises.

Once inside they broke into the cigarette kiosk and stole a quantity of cigarettes along with food and household goods.

Police patrols attended the area and located the three in a nearby reserve.

Police recovered all the stolen property in a shopping trolley they had used to cart it away.

All three, a 41-year-old man from Glossop, a 28-year-old woman from Parafield Gardens and 20 year old woman from Munno Para will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.

Police continue to look for two other people allegedly involved in the break-in.
