Police are investigating an attempted aggravated robbery that occurred at Tea Tree Gully on 8 September 2011. 

Just before 12pm, a man entered the BankSA branch on North East Road, holding a black metal object and a plastic bag and demanded money.

Bank staff activated security screens, and the man fled empty-handed.

He was last seen running away from the bank in a northerly direction on Shelley Street.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as being aged in his early 20’s, with a dark complexion, 170cm tall and between 65-70kg. He also has a plain Australian accent.

He was wearing tight dark-coloured pants, a grey hooded jumper, black gloves, and black-and-white sneakers.
