Police are currently at the scene of an aggravated robbery at Pennington.
Just after 5.30am three men entered the United service station on Torrens Road.
One of the suspects was armed with what is believed to be a large knife, possibly a machete.
They threatened staff and left on foot with an amount of cash and cigarettes.
No one was injured.
The suspects are all described as being of aboriginal appearance.
The first suspect is in his late teens, about 160cm tall and wearing a long sleeve grey top and black shorts.
The second suspect is also in his late teens and wearing a dark top with what appears to be the words “SAXON” written on the front and black track pants.
The third suspect was wearing a red and black long sleeve hooded top and grey track pants.
