Police are investigating two attempted aggravated robberies at Glynde and Andrews Farm.

At about 4.45pm today a man armed with a knife entered a grocery store on Payneham Road, Glynde and demanded money.

Another staff member entered the store, and the man then ran away towards Payneham Road without any money.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his early 20’s, light brown hair, medium build, wearing a dark-coloured jacket and black jeans, and carrying a backpack.

The second attempted robbery happened at about 6.40pm, when a man entered the Top Shop convenience store at the corner of President Avenue and Hughes Street, armed with a knife.

The man allegedly told the lone shop assistant to open the till, and when they refused, the man fled the store empty-handed.

He was last seen travelling west on Hughes Street.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as tall and thin, wearing a black hooded jumper with a white motif on the front, black track pants and was wearing a mask with a white skull pattern on it.
