A man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery in Manunda this afternoon.
It will be alleged a man entered a liquor store on Pease Street around 1.20pm.
The man threatened the store attendant with a knife and demanded cash.
It is then alleged that after obtaining a sum of money, the man ran away.
A 22-year-old Cairns North man has been charged with one count of armed robbery.
He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court tomorrow.
