Police are investigating the armed robbery of a chemist at Beenleigh yesterday.
Initial investigations suggest around 7.30pm, a man entered the store on George Street allegedly armed with a knife and made demands for cash and medication.
The store attendants complied, and the man ran from the store with a sum of cash and medication.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late twenties, about 185cm tall and with a solid build.
At the time of the offence, he was wearing a black jumper, blue jeans, joggers, and a black balaclava.
Police investigations are continuing.
