4 May 2012 – Aggravated Robbery – Deli – Taperoo

Police are investigating an attempted aggravated robbery at a deli at Taperoo overnight.
Just after 9.30pm a man entered the Victoria Road deli and threatened staff.
The suspect demanded money and produced what is believed to be a large kitchen knife.
He left empty handed after staff refused to hand any over any cash and was last seen running off along Strathfield Terrace.
The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, Caucasian, about 180cm tall with a large build.
He was wearing dark clothing.
