Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop at Beenleigh this afternoon.

Initial investigations suggest around 5.30pm, a man entered the store on Logan River Road armed with a knife and made demands for cash.

The store attendant complied, and the man ran from the store with a sum of money.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 20-30 years, and about 180cm tall.

He was wearing a white short sleeved t-shirt with grey panels down the sides, long black pants, black boots and a black balaclava.

Police investigations are continuing.
