Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store at Palm Beach in the early hours of this morning.
Around 4.30am a man armed with a knife entered the 8th Avenue premises and made demands for money from the console operator.
The operator initially refused to hand over any money. He was then verbally threatened by the offender after which the offender Has handed the till.
The offender put cash from the till into his pockets before walking out of the premises with the till.
The offender has immediately re-entered the store and placed the till on the counter and made demands for cigarettes.
The store attendant handed over a quantity of cigarettes and the offender left the store.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The offender is described as being aged around 17 to 19 years of age, 175 to 185 cm tall caucasion, fair skin with a slim build and brown hair. He was wearing a hoodie and board shorts.
