Police investigating the armed robbery of a Bundamba grocery store on Saturday have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

Around 6.20pm, a man entered the Brisbane Road store and threatened the male attendant with a knife and demanded money.

After opening the till, the attendant was ordered to the back of the store as the man removed a quantity of cash.

The man then left the store and was last seen running towards Braeside Street.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, average build and with blonde hair. He was wearing jeans, a black jumper, white baseball cap, black gloves and was carrying a black bag.
