Margaret River Detectives are calling for the public’s assistance in their investigation into an attempted armed robbery at the Wallcliffe House Bottle Shop last night, Wednesday 6 June, 2012.

About 8.53pm, a man entered the store (also known as the Knights Inn), located on Wallcliffe Road brandishing a knife, The man threatened staff members with the weapon before they managed to lock themselves in a rear storeroom.

The offender stole bottles of liquor (as pictured) before leaving the store.

The man is described as mid to late twenties, slim build, approximately 180cm tall and had light coloured eyes. He was wearing a black hooded-jumper, dark coloured jeans and a black balaclava.
