Police have established a crime scene following an armed robbery at a liquor store in Sydney’s west tonight (Tuesday 12 June 2012).

About 7.45pm, three armed men entered the store on Bottles Road in Plumpton. One was armed with a pistol, another with a machete, and the third possibly with a baton.

They demanded money from the male shop attendant.

The staff member complied with their demands, and the three men left with a sum of cash, cigarettes and liquor. They were last seen heading in a north west direction towards bushland near Plumpton Marketplace.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police are wishing to speak with three men of dark complexion. One is about 190cm tall and a second about 170cm. The height of the third man is unknown. They were all wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.
