Regional Investigation Unit detectives are seeking public assistance following four armed incidents in the western suburbs during April, May and June which are believed to have been committed by the same man.

On Monday 9 April 2012 a man wearing a motorcycle helmet entered the Captain Stirling Pharmacy on Stirling Highway Nedlands at about 7:20pm. The man armed with a knife threatened staff, demanding prescription medication. He was given a small amount of medication before he fled the area on a motorcycle.

The second incident took place at about 8pm on Saturday 26 May 2012 when a man armed with a knife and wearing a motorcycle helmet entered Pharmacy 777 located on Eric Street Cottesloe. He threatened staff and was given a small amount of medication before fleeing on a motorcycle.

The third incident occurred at about 5:05pm on Monday 28 May 2012 when a man armed with a knife and wearing a motorcycle helmet entered the Dalkeith Pharmacy located at Waratah Avenue Dalkeith. He threatened staff and was given a small amount of medication before fleeing on a motorcycle.

The fourth incident took place at about 3:05pm on Friday 8 June 2012 when a man armed with a knife and wearing a motorcycle helmet entered the Hollywood Pharmacy located at Hampden Rd Nedlands. He threatened staff and was given a small amount of medication before fleeing on a motorcycle.

The offender is described as having light skin, approximately 190cms tall, an athletic build and collar length dark hair. He was wearing a full face black helmet, a black jumper, blue jeans and dark coloured shoes. He spoke with an Australian accent.
