A woman has been charged following an armed robbery this afternoon in Kallangur.
Around 4.10pm, a woman has entered a nail salon on Anzac Avenue in Kallangur, stated she was armed with a gun and demanded cash.
Police will allege she has then taken a quantity of cash from the counter area, and attempted to steal a handbag on her way out of the business.
She was located a short time later by police and taken into custody.
A 49-year-old Kallangur woman has been charged with once count each of armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and unlawful entry of a vehicle.
She is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court tomorrow.
