Police have released the image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries following a robbery in Ashgrove this morning.

Around 11.30am, a man entered the Waterworks Road financial institution and made demands of staff.

The man fled the scene with a sum of cash, and was last seen walking through a park on Stewart Road.

No one was physically harmed during the incident.

He is described as being around 50 years-of-age, around 176cms tall and was last seen wearing white shoes, dark shorts, a long sleeved black and white check shirt and a dark coloured bucket hat.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
