Police are investigating after the attempted armed robbery of a Redbank Plains restaurant last night.
Around 9.10pm two men approached the Kruger Parade restaurant with one remaining outside while the second entered.
The second man then confronted the staff member, striking a counter with what appeared to be a hammer and demanded money.
The male staff member has produced a metal bar causing the man to flee the restaurant empty handed. Both men have then run off.
Both men are described as being approximately 170cm tall, of skinny build and were wearing all black clothing.
The 41-year-old staff member was not physically harmed during the incident.
