A woman was robbed at knifepoint as she was delivering a pizza in Orange overnight.

The 24-year-old woman told police she was called to deliver a pizza to a home in Leura Road about 10pm (23 November) when she was approached by a man armed with a knife.

The man demanded money and was handed the driver’s takings.

She returned to the store and alerted police.

A crime scene was established in Leura Road and an investigation is now underway into the identity of the man.

Police are keen to speak with a man they believe can assist with this investigation.

He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 183cm tall, with a slim build. At the time he was wearing light-coloured stubby shorts, a grey hoodie and thongs.
