Police from Manning Great Lakes Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault and robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Forster at the weekend.
Shortly before 9pm, on Sunday, 25 November, 2012, a 57-year-old man pulled up outside an address in Cabarita Avenue to deliver a pizza.
The driver got out of his car to deliver the order to a man that was standing in the driveway.
As he got out of his car with the pizza, a second man, described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, very thin, with a brown bandanna covering his face, struck the 57-year-old in his back causing him to fall.
