Police investigating yesterday morning’s armed robbery of a North Rockhampton service station have charged two teenagers.

It will be alleged that around 3.15am two males entered theYaamba Road business, with one threatening the attendant with a pair of scissors before the pair fled with a quantity of cigarettes and drinks.

A 17-year-old Wavell Heights man, and a 16-year-old Edmonton boy have both been charged with armed robbery in company.

The 17-year-old is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Courttoday, and the 16-year-old will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act.
