A man has been charged following the alleged armed robbery of a liquor outlet in Bundaberg yesterday afternoon.
Around 4.15pm a man armed with a knife entered the Avoca Road bottle shop and allegedly threatened the male attendant and demanded money.
The man fled the scene with a sum of cash and was last seen driving off in a vehicle.
The man and the vehicle were later located by police and liquor, cash and a knife were seized.
A 36-year-old Svensson Heights man has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He remains in custody and is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates court later today.
