Police are currently at two service station robberies – one at Pooraka and one at Alberton.

A hold-up alarm was triggered at 5.18am at the United service station on Main North Road, when a woman allegedly armed with a knife, threatened the staff member before stealing cash.

She fled on foot and last seen heading west.

She is described as being of heavy build, 168 cms and wearing a mask or similar, gloves, black trousers and carrying a pink bag.

Then at 5.55am, a man wearing a black hooded top with white writing pulled a knife from the sleeve of his top and threatened staff a the BP On the Run on Port Road.

He too fled on foot heading east on nearby Wellington Street with a small amount of cash.
