Detectives from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command have released CCTV images following the armed robbery of a service station at Warners Bay last month.

About 8.40pm on Friday 14 December 2012, two men entered a service station on Warners Bay Road and threatened the console operator with a knife.

After being given an amount of money, the men fled the scene on foot along Jones Avenue.

Detectives investigating the incident have released images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first man depicted in the images is described as about 170cm -175cm tall, with a thin build, tanned complexion. In the images, he is wearing a dark jumper with light hood, black shorts, and gloves.

The second man depicted in the images is described as having a tanned complexion. In the images, he is wearing a blue hooded jumper, pink/red shirt, and black shorts.
