5 January 2013 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Booval

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station in Booval overnight.
Initial investigations indicate just after 8.30pm a man entered a Brisbane Road service station and on approaching the console operator, produced a weapon and demanded cash.
On receiving a sum of money and a packet of cigarettes, the man ran from store and back towards Cole Street.
The man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, about 150cm tall with a thin build and brown eyes.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
