Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Southport this morning.
Around 12.40 this morning, two men have entered a Ferry Road fruit shop and have produced a knife and a firearm.
They made demands for money, and the employee has handed over a sum of cash.
The two men have then left the business and were last seen on foot on Ferry Road.
No one was physically injured as a result.
The two men are described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 170cms tall and were both wearing dark clothing.
Police continue to investigate.
