Police have released closed-circuit television images as they renew their appeal for information into the armed robbery of a dance studio at Toongabbie last year.
About 6:30am, Sunday 28 October 2012, three men with their faces covered entered the dance studio on Aurelia Street and confronted the 76-year-old owner.
The man was threatened with a knife before being tied-up and held for two hours while he was assaulted. The three men then stole an amount of money before fleeing the scene.
The owner of the business was able to free himself and contact police. He suffered minor injuries but did not require any medical treatment.
Detectives from Holroyd Local Area Command have been conducting investigations into the matter and have now released closed-circuit television (CCTV) images of a man who they would like to speak to.
The man, who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 30 to 40 years old, medium/solid build with short shaved hair and tattoos on his upper arms.
He is depicted in the CCTV images wearing black sunglasses, a black singlet with a motif on the front, light pants and black shoes.
