23 January 2013 – Charges Laid – 8 Armed Robberies – SE Melb Suburbs

Detectives from Knox Crime Investigation Unit have charged a man following eight armed robberies in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne dating back to October 2012.
The armed robberies are alleged to have occurred in Narre Warren, Carrum Downs, Ferntree Gully, Rowville, Mount Waverley and Ringwood.
The 34-year-old Narre Warren North man has also been charged in relation to an attempted armed robbery in Caulfield East.
He will face Melbourne Magistrate’s Court this afternoon for a filing hearing.
