Police have charged a 38-year-old man after investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Crestmead on January 19.

Police will allege around 7.25pm a man entered the Warratah Drive store and threatened the store attendant with a knife, demanding cash and merchandise.

The attendant complied and the man fled the store on foot with a sum of money and goods.

The 38-year-old is scheduled to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
