Holden Hill police have made two arrests following a service station robbery at Holden Hill last night.

Just before 10pm, three males wearing masks and one allegedly armed with a knife, threatened a console operator at service station on North East Road, stealing cash and food.

Nearby patrols including a police dog patrol, quickly converged on the area and made a search, locating one of the suspects hiding in bushes in Dundee Ave Holden Hill.  A second suspect was then found a short distance away.

A 23-year-old man from Adelaide and a 17-year-old youth of no fixed place, were both arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and breaching their bail conditions.

They have both been refused police bail and will appear in the Holden Hill Court on Tuesday.

Enquiries are continuing on the third suspect who wasn’t located
