Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries into an armed robbery at an electronics store in Maitland last year.
About 8.30am on Thursday 11 October 2012, a man approached staff at the High Street store claiming to be a police officer.
While speaking with a female employee the man produced a knife and demanded cash. He tied the female employee’s hands and feet together before leaving the store with an amount of cash.
The woman managed to free herself before contacting police.
Police attended a short time later and a crime scene was established.
Police have renewed their appeal for information and have released a computer generated image of a man they wish to speak to.
The man depicted in the image is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 182cm tall, aged in his late 20s or 30s, with dark short hair, wearing a black business suit and black wrap-around sunglasses.
Detectives attached to Central Hunter Local Area Command are currently investigating the incident.
