Detectives from the Regional Investigation Unit are seeking help from the public in their investigation into the robbery of the Coles Express service station, Warwick Road, Duncraig on 3 January 2013.

At 12.20 am a male person approached the closed doors of the service station and the attendant activated the doors, allowing him to enter.

He approached the counter brandishing a sharp object in his right hand, whilst yelling obscenities and demanding the attendant give him cash from the register.

He was given a quantity of cash and when he went to leave the store had to prise the doors open with his hands. An accomplice appeared outside the store and helped the offender open the doors and both ran off.

The offender is described as being in his late teens, 170 cm tall, slim build. He was wearing a black jumper with the word “PUMA” printed on the front, black track pants, white sneakers and a black balaclava.

His accomplice was described as being of similar appearance.
