2 February 2013 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Sunnybank

A man armed with a knife attempted to rob a Sunnybank convenience store earlier this morning.
Around 9.30am the armed man entered theTroughton Roadstore and made demands for cash and goods from a 61-year-old female attendant.
The attendant did not comply and the man fled the store empty handed.
The attendant was not physically injured.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 180cm tall, dark brown hair and with a muscular build. He was wearing dark coloured jeans, a green t-shirt and a dark coloured balaclava.
Police investigations are continuing.
