Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Deagon this evening.

Around 6.15, a man has entered a convenience store on Albury Street, produced a knife and made demands for cash.

The man has then grabbed the cash register and ran outside and was last seen entering a red vehicle on Doris Street.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, was 188cms tall, or a proportionate build and in his 20s.

Police investigations into the incident are continuing.
