Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery in Morphett Street in the city.
At about 10am, a man wearing a ski mask and allegedly armed with a handgun has threatened staff at an electronics store and stole cash.
He left via a rear door and was last seen heading on foot towards Grote Street.
The offender is described as Caucasian, over six foot tall, tanned skin and wearing a dark or navy blue short sleeved shirt and dark pants.
He had a latex glove on one hand.
