A man has been arrested after quick action by police following a robbery at  Salisbury North.

At about 2pm, police will allege that a 21-year-old man entered the IGA  supermarket on Wyndham Road and threatened staff with a knife, before stealing  the till from the cash register and running out of the store.

No one was injured during the incident.

A patrol saw the man running away from the store with the till, and arrested  him shortly after.

The Willaston man has been charged with aggravated robbery, and will appear  in court tomorrow.
