14 February 2013 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Redbank Plains

Police have charged a man following an attempted armed robbery in Redbank Plains overnight.

Shortly before 11 last night, a man entered a convenience store on Redbank Plains Road, with police alleging he has stated he had a gun and demanded cash from the attendant.

The attendant has not complied, and the man left the store without any property or money.

A 29-year-old Macleay Island man has been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery and will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court today
