Police are looking for two males armed with a handgun following the robbery of a petrol station at Pendle Hill last night.

About 11:45pm, Wednesday 20 February 2013, two males entered the petrol station on Wentworth Avenue.

One of the males, who was armed with a handgun, approached the console operator and threatened him with the firearm while demanding cash from the register.

He was handed a small amount of cash before both males ran out of the store and were last seen heading east towards Bungaree Road.

Police were contacted and attended the petrol station where they established a perimeter and conducted a search of the area with the assistance of the Dog Unit.

Despite the search police were unable to locate the two males.

Parramatta police are now looking for both males with the first described as being 165cm tall, with a fit/athletic build, armed with a handgun and wearing a black jacket and grey pants.

The second male is described as having a slim build and wearing a black jacket with a motif on the front and red/maroon coloured pants.
