Police are investigating two aggravated robberies overnight.

The first was at about 10.20pm when a man described as being of Aboriginal  appearance and wearing a black hooded top with white writing, entered the United  service station on Torrens Road, Pennington and threatened staff.

He fled on foot empty handed, north on Addison Road.

The second was about 5 minutes later at the BP service station on David  Terrace, Woodville Park.

A male described as very tall wearing a blue hooded top and jeans threatened  staff with a screwdriver before fleeing with a small amount of cash towards  Harvey Street.

Although the offender descriptions are different, police will consider any  links as they investigate both robberies.
