Police have charged a man after a robbery in Cairns this afternoon.
It will be alleged that around 4.20pm a man entered a convenience store on Minnie Street and threatened an attendant, demanding cash.
The man left the scene with a sum of money, before the attendant contacted police.
A short time later police arrested a man in a nearby street.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with one count of robbery, and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court tomorrow.
