Police have charged two boys and a woman following two armed robberies that occurred earlier this morning.

Around 5.20am, a male and a female have entered a bakery on Hornibrook Esplanade in Clontarf and police will allege that the male has produced a knife before taking a sum of cash from the register.

At 5.50, a man has then approached a takeaway shop on Cresthaven Drive in Morayfield and it will be alleged he has threatened the employee with a knife and made demands for cash, but then left in a vehicle empty handed.

A 17-year-old Elimbah woman has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, one count each of deprivation of liberty, attempted armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

She is due to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on February 25.

A 16-year-old Burpengary boy has been charged with two counts of stealing and one count each of deprivation of liberty, armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, arson and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

A 15-year-old Keppera boy has been charged with two counts each of armed robbery and stealing and one count each of attempted armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and arson.

Both boys will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act.
