24 February 2013 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Algester

Police are investigating the armed robbery of an Algester bottle shop last night.
Around 8.40pm, a man entered the Algester Road business armed with a knife and threatened a male staff member before demanding cash.
The staff member complied and the man fled the scene on foot and was last seen heading along Beaudesert Road.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
The man is described as being in his mid 20s, of a proportionate build and a dark complexion.
He was wearing a dark checkered print hooded jumper, black baseball cap and blue tracksuit pants.
