Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Collingwood Park this morning.
Around 11am, a man entered the Collingwood Drive store, produced a knife from his backpack and approached the counter.
The man threatened the female employee with a knife and demanded she open the till and hand over money.
The employee complied and the man fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
The armed man was wearing a black t-shirt, dark grey or black shorts, and black thongs. He has a white backpack.
Police investigations are continuing.
