10 March 2013 – Armed Robbery – Newsagency – Upper Coomera

Police are investigating after a news agency at Upper Coomera was robbed at gunpoint late this afternoon.
Around 5.15pm a man armed with a handgun entered the store at the corner of Days and Old Coach roads and demanded money from the male business owner.
The man then fled on foot after obtaining a sum of cash.
The owner was not physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as having a very tanned complexion, approx 170cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a greenish long sleeve shirt, a baseball cap and work boots. His face was obscured by a yellow bandanna.
