15 March 2013 – Armed Robbery – Restaurant – Cannon Hill

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a restaurant in Cannon Hill early this morning.
About 5:20am a man followed an employee into the premises and produced a machete. The man threatened the employee and a cleaner who was already in the premises with the machete and demanded money.
The employee handed over a sum of money and the offender fled on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
The man is described as being about 20-years old with a dark complexion, 160cm tall with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, cream shorts and had a grey and white bandanna covering his face.
