Police are searching for a man following the armed robbery of a bakery at Warwick Farm this morning.
The man entered the business, which is located on Mannix Parade, about 6.45am (Saturday 16 March 2013).

The man approached the shop’s male owner, who was the only person in the bakery at the time.

Lifting his shirt to reveal a firearm tucked into the top of his pants, the man demanded cash.

He fled the shop with a small amount of money, and was last seen running along Mannix Parade.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Police responded, and despite a search of the area by PolAir, the Dog Squad and local officers, the man was not located.

Specialist police from the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit are examining the crime scene.

Police now wish to speak with a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries into this incident. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s, 165 to 175 cm tall, with a skinny build and acne. At the time, the man was wearing a grey hooded top and dark pants, and carrying a red bag over his shoulder.

Members of the public are warned not to approach the man, as he may be armed.
