19 March 2013 – Robbery with Violence – Take Away Store – Acacia Ridge

Police are investigating a robbery in Acacia Ridge overnight.
Two men entered a take away store on Oxley Street around 7pm and one offender punched a male worker in the head.
As the other offender took a sum of cash and cigarettes, the first offender punched a female worker and pushed her to the ground.
Both offenders fled on foot and were last seen on Agness Street.
The man and the woman were taken to the Princess Alexandra hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
