Police are appealing for public assistance following theattempted armed robbery of a convenience store in Mount Isa on March 18.
At 2.30am, a man entered the shop located at the corner of the Barkly Highway and Milne Bay Road.
He threatened the female attendant with a sharp object, demanding money before leaving the store on foot empty-handed.
The man is described as being 165cm, Caucasian in appearance with a slim build, and brown hair.
