Police have charged a 25-year-old man after the robbery of a food store at Gatton on March 21.

Around 4.25pm a man entered the North Street store and allegedly produced a knife, demanding money from the female attendant.

After obtaining cash he then fled from the store.

He has been charged with one count of armed robbery and two counts enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.
